Live Domain Auctioneers Auction Results
Tonight, November 22nd we had a great auction take place which was one of the busiest LDA auctions I can remember. There were some quality names up for sale tonight and I think that the prices showed that. There were no huge sales but that's what is great about these auctions they are domainer prices with names for everyone. The no reserves $1 start helps get bidding going and their were some great bidding wars tonight that even I got involved in.
Top 10 sales
- LiveHelpCenter.com $210
- BrownSofa.com $175
- ClampOnLamp.com $110
- JustSaySold.com $105
- WizWerks.com$100
- CreeperSeats.com $90
- InsureFleets.com $80
- iEarnCash.com $75
- Zooha.com $75
- CornerLamp.com $58.50
Total Sales 200 Names Sold for $3035 according to my calculations. Only 1 name did not sell so the average price per domain was $15.25
Not bad especially with the many names that sold from $1-$5. The auction really proves that quality names will sell if the have people searching for them and decent PPC. Another thing I liked about the auction is that it was almost all .com domains.
I picked up
- BikeChildSeat.com (I hit bid on accident oops if you want to buy it for price I paid contact me gets good searches)
- ChristmasExperts.com (Just because I love the holiday)
- SpyCoins.com (Spy-Coins.com established website)
What do you think about the auction or the names I picked up?

They keep increasing the quality of domains but I do think the $1 opening bid is actually hurting them in the same way that Bido ran into issues with it. I think they should accept that some names won’t sell and put a min. offer on all names. It’ll increase quality of submissions and generate better returns for all involved.
That said, as a buyer it’s great as is and looking at some of those top 10 sales that I was involved in but didn’t win, I see I could have spent a lot more money tonight than I did

I might be interested to get my hands on BikeChildSeat.com… Of course depending on the amount you accidentally paid for it?

It was great to see so much activity compared to the last two LDA auctions. I am considering submitting a few LLL.info/org’s and CCC.com’s for the next one – although so far it looks like they shy away from commodity domains.
I picked up a couple of domains based on the revenue they supposedly bring in through parking – we’ll see if the figures are correct.
