Now the part everyone loves to talk about the money! If you missed day 1, 2, or 3 read them first.

The main reason any domainer would ever build a minisite is to make money in one way or another off of it. There are so many ways to do this, I am going to cover some that have worked for me in no real order.

1. Google Adsense - This is one that everyone knows and many people use. I personally thing adsense is great, but it has its place. When used on more informational type sites that have a high CPC adsense can do very well it just has to be on the right site.

2. Ebay Partner Network - I know I talk a ton about this program, but I have my reasons for my love affair with it. My EPN ads perform much better than adsense ads on product related domains. They ads do not look like your typical ppc ads but eBay recently switched to qpc format and visitors seem to love them!

2.5 PhpBay - This wordpress plugin goes along with the last one and makes it easy to put your EPN ads right in your posts and makes them look great I mean you can hardly tell they are ads at all take a look at my Butane Lantern site.

3. Affiliate Programs- take a look on Commission Junction, the Google affiliate program, or clickbank and look for related products. Make sure you look at thinks like payout, cookie time, and payout methods. There is a product for every site try a few and see which ones convert best.

4. Direct Ad Sales- Once your site becomes big enough you can approach other sites or companies in your industry. This can lead to the largest profits out of all of the ad types. Try and sign ad deals for multiple months and reward your ad partners and they will stay with you for longer. You can also try direct lead sales which may be complicated at first but is incredibly rewarding.

5. Product Sales - If you site is large enough you can try to buy the product wholesale or dropship them directly to your customers. This way you are no longer the middle man but the end provider.

6. Selling the Domain - On some of my sites I list it on the top that this website is for sale. I use the word website because a developed website, even if it is just a minisite will have much more perceived value than a blank parked domain. It will already be ranked in the search engines and have revenue and traffic which will increase the sale price.

These are just 5 ways to make money off your minisites. I use a variety of all of the methods to make my money. No one program is going to be perfect for all sites and you would not want to put all of your eggs in one basket, so spread it out and develop a system that works for you and your sites.

Last day of the series tomorrow thanks for reading and feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

I was wondering how tough it was to get approved for EPN? What details do you need to provide Ebay in order to get their approval? Do they require that your site be up and running first? What do they look for to grant approval for your site?
