Hi Brian,

Excellent work on your blog, I’ve been following it for some time and love seeing new posts from you.

An idea for a new blog post could be a follow up to these two sites (I briefly searched but haven’t seen anything) on how they’re performing now, and things you have learnt? I don’t know about others here but I’m really keen to see how they panned out.

Brian,

I started buying and selling domain names (undeveloped) about 10 years ago and I did prety well. After the bubble burst in the domain market I stopped selling but held on to my best names. I would love to eventually make serious money at this game. I am just starting to get involved again and I’m not sure how to get started. I’m thinking the best way is to develop enough traffic to sell advertising space on my sites. Can you give me your opinion on this? I saw the comment about you possibly tutoring, is this something you would consider? I would like to get GolfClubSet.com up and running. Thanks.

@norman, I think it’s because it’s an .us domain name. I have read and learn that Google honors .com, .net, and .org much more.

Please try to experiment different keyword search, I don’t recall I have seen any .us on the first page myself.

I’m missing something. My domain universallifeinsurance.us has great numbers according to estibot (15k exact search, $10 CPC, Low competition). I’ve done keywords and Social networking. But I’m getting almost no traffic.

What am I doing wrong?
