Setting Up Whypark Hotel Sites

I was looking through my domain portfolio the other day and I realized I have l of theses domain names that I have plans for down the road that are just sitting doing nothing. I learned last month the benifits of having names indexed before you make a full site on them when I had one of my names at smartnames.  I thenmoved it to a minisite and made money the very first day because it was already ranked on the first page of google.

I found two hotel domain names in my moniker account that I think I picked up from one of domain tweeter's list many months ago. They both have good exact searches and high CPC. In the future I want to build out the sites will custom reviews and maps, but right now I do not have time.

I have see whyparks domain apps for some time now and finally got around to giving them a try. The apps were very easy to use and install. I selected the location and added some keywords and they were done. I am going to have a writer write 2 or 3 articles for each one and they should begin to rank well. The first site is Vestal Hotels and the second is Tewksbury Hotels. I still have to go and fix a few things but I am happy with the results. What do you think?

I only wish that there was a way to have paid hotel submissions so if anyone from whypark reads this that would be great. But other than that the hotel app works and looks great.

In the next few days I am going to try out many other of the whypark apps. if you have unused domains I would give whypark a look.

Looks like your typical whypark template, for geo domains, I prefer devhub, there’s a lot more development potential there, IMO!.

    Nice websites, I simply love WhyPark. My hotel-related domains on WhyPark include ChicagoHotels.co – TopNotchHotel.com – HotelsInMumbai.in

    @ TeenDomainer

I’m no way in any shape or form a web developer, just a domainer turned (or trying to turn) into development, it’s not a geo domain but I’m working on finishing up my new site http://www.whiplashcompensation.us

However, if you’re looking for a good geo based site that was built on devhub, check out lubbock.us

    good luck

I have tried DevHub in the past and found it confusing. WhyPark.com is much easier to use. Who knows maybe WhyPark will come out with some new domain apps. Since applying the domainapps to some of my domains, revenue has increased.

    Brian;

Here is a good example of a geo-hotel website on the DevHub platform:

    http://www.FriscoHotels.com

There is a lot of customization and functionality that the owner can take into their own hands (unlike with WhyPark).

    Best of luck,

    B.C.

You can also try Booking.com affiliate programm white label solution for your geo/hotel related domains.

Here’s topic related thread on IDNforums about white label solutions – http://www.idnforums.com/forums/27342-international-affiliate-programmes-with-white-labels.html. Hope this helps!

    Hi TDee

I’m biased as a past exec for WP, but there isn’t any other system that is better run, more experienced and established than Whypark. Your reasoning regarding prepping your domains is correct: Parking your domains gives them NOTHING in the way of SE positioning. If they aren’t making money on landing pages, then WhyPark is the way to go. I make more money with 1/10 of my “nonperforming” domains at WhyPark than I do with the rest of my domains at PPC’s.

Be sure to ALWAYS add 1-3 custom original pages of content, whether it’s pics/vids/text for each site. This will avoid the ‘dupcontent’ curse some people have whined about when they just click and load boilerplate info and then complain about why they got dropped from the SE’s. Just shuffle stuff around, spend 15 minutes writing a review or two, or hire WP writers to do it. You’re probably already finding out how well that works.

Best of luck and great strategic choice for your dormant domains… don’t let them sit around when you can have them doing revenue dancing for you at WhyPark.

I’m glad I read this post. I’ve been using Sedo to park my websites and WhyPark is so much better. Now I can add a twitter feed and articles instead of looking like a dead-end and making no money.

Brian, it looks good. I like Whypark’s interface. Looking forward to hearing how it works in the long run.

    Brian,

B.C.’s claim that Devhub’s features allow you to create a site like friscohotels and Whypark users can’t copy this (or even do it better) is a crock. Everything on the site BC provided can be done on Whypark, and more, and for less effort and cost.
