I am in a band and I totally understand what you are saying. Have the end goal in mind and work and learn to do everything you need to to get it done. Think of it as if you were recording a song. If you need a sax on that track, learn just enough to play that sax to make section work. Same with any other instrument that the songs requires. As in most businesses though its usually better to go with the things that make the most money. So a starting point is which subjects pay the most if you had google ads on the sites.
