Easy Way to Build Lead Generation Partners

I have been using this method for a few weeks now on some small lead generation inquiries I get. On all of my minisites I have a contact page where people once and a while ask questions about ordering in bulk or who we recommend for something.

Last week, I received an email about bulk buying all different types of German Wine Glasses. I went on google and found the website german-toasting-glasses.com and submitted it to them. I also emailed the person back and told them to contact German toasting glasses and tell them they were sent by Brian from GermanWineGlasses.com.

Another time on my KidsClimbingHarness. com I received an email about buying rock climbing harnesses for a group of students. I just told them to go visit their local REI because I have had great experience and service there in the past.

Now after sending a few more leads and building up the relationship between myself and companies I am going to ask if they would like to enter into an exclusive contract and pay a fee per lead which will vary depending on the lead. This way they know how valuable the leads can be and I already have a relationship with them before I go and try and sell them something (my leads).

Another possible outcome would be that the end user sees the value in the traffic on my site and offers to buy it outright from me which I think would be a great move on their part. I think they would actually save money in the long run by buying whole site and capturing all of the traffic.

Lead generation is really something I am trying to focus on in 2011. Using different programs and establishing relationships like these makes a site become much more profitable that most typical adsense minisites.

Great approach, Brian. Lead generation is a natural fit for domain investors focused on development.

You could also post your own banners on the page to get leads.

If many people are asking you for bulk prices, put a “bulk prices banner” on the page. If people are asking you for local shops, put a banner that says something about local shops etc.

Once they click on the banner they can be taken to a contact page.

You may want to put some CPA ads as well. Those pay per leads!

Thanks for sharing. I have a few domain names that are just sitting & doing nothing. You have inspired me to try a few things. Cheers, Mars
